53,595 passed the initial second stage written test

Staff Reporter: The Department of Primary Education has selected 53,595 students for the oral examination in the written test of the second phase of recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools.

The results were published on the Department of Primary Education’s website on Thursday night.

In the second phase of recruitment of primary teachers, examinations were held on May 20 in seven districts and in 22 districts.

Rajshahi, Khulna, Faridpur, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Barisal and Rangpur – Complete of these 7 districts and Naogaon, Natore, Sirajganj, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Jessore, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Netrokona, Kishoreganj, Tangail, Rajshahi. , Pirojpur, Patuakhali, Sunamganj, Habiganj, Kurigram, and Gaibandha – Applicants from these 22 districts sat for the examination.

Candidates who have passed the written test will be able to take part in the oral test. Candidates will be informed about the place, date, and time of the oral examination later. They will be finally selected for recruitment on the basis of the marks obtained in the written and oral examinations.

Earlier, 40,862 people from 22 districts had passed the written test of the first phase held on April 22. The oral test of those who have passed the written test of the first stage will start next 12th June.

On June 3, all the candidates from 18 districts and partial examinations were held in 14 districts in the third and final stage examinations.

45,000 vacancies will be filled through this three-step examination. They are expected to be appointed by July after the completion of the oral examination.

The Department of Primary Education issued a notification on October 20, 2020, to fill 32,577 vacant posts of Assistant Teachers. But due to the coronavirus epidemic, the recruitment test could not be taken then.
