Staff Reporter: The gas crisis will continue for 48 hours in the western part of Dhaka during EID.
The gas will be closed on the other side of the Gabtali bridge. And in some areas including Dhanmondi and Mirpur there will be a shortage of gas.
Titus Gas said the problem will remain for the next 48 hours from 10 pm on Tuesday for maintenance work.
Depending on the sighting of the moon, Eid-ul-Fitr may be on Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday night, the problem of gas will be borne in the households of those areas.
According to the emergency message of Titas, the gas supply will be cut off in Amin Bazar, Hemayetpur, Savar, Savar EPZ, Ashulia, Manikganj, and Dhamrai areas for the next 48 hours from 10 pm on May 3 for emergency maintenance work on gas transmission and distribution lines.
At that time there was a possibility of low gas pressure in Gabtali, Mazar Road, Kalyanpur, Shyamoli, Mirpur, Mohammadpur, and Dhanmondi areas.
According to Titus, the gas supply situation is not getting normal before 10 pm on Thursday, May 5. The office court will open on Thursday after the EID holiday.
